Pirate Lifestyle TV ™ Quickie 015
I be here in me ship with a special addition quickie.
Pirate Lifestyle TV is about you changing your reality and most importantly it is about havin' FUN.
Talk like a pirate day is Sept 19th so I think we should all learn some pirate lingo.
Why? Talkin' like a pirate be fun! Arrr.
Number 1 - The basics, a few important words
Ahoy! - Hello.
Avast! - Stop, pay attention.
One Aye, as in Aye! - Yes, I agree.
Two Aye's, as in Aye aye! - I understand and I'll get right on that.
Grog: A pirate's favorite drink, any alcohol other than beer.
Landlubber: someone not used to life onboard a ship.
Beauty, Lass, or Wench: A woman.
And the most important, Arrr! No explanation needed.
Number 2 -- Simple Guidelines
Always speak in the present tense.
Drop your g's and v's when you speak: sailin', invitin', lootin', plunderin'.
Instead of saying "I am" or "You are," pirates say, "I be" or "You be."
Double up on your adjectives. Don't call it a boat, it's a great grand galleon.
Also exaggerate. Stand back ye buxom beauty, yer raisin' me Jolly Roger.
And there is more good, as in FUNNY, stuff in the video.
Arrrrr.
