Happy Two Year Anniversary Brand New Style and Design

You won’t believe what you’ll see in this video. Let’s get started.

You know, when I started doing this, my goal was to share a bit of our life. We live on this sailboat and I thought you might find our story interesting.

Over the past two years I have received lots of advice on how to improve my videos, and I will be incorporating a lot of your thoughts and ideas in my videos.

For example, many of you find my “Mr. Rogers” style of talking condescending. You feel I am treating you as babies, and that I come across as I’m smart and you’re not. Well no more.

ARRRRRR!!!! STOP the MADNESS!!! You look and sound like a zombie, Cap'n. Go back to the old style. Those people that think you are talking down to them will have a problem no matter how you talk. Suck down some GROG, pee over the rail and forget about the negative. That's my plan! Just sold my property here in Alaska and leaving in 4 weeks to buy a sailboat in Washington and move aboard. So, slap that cap back on yer head, slip on a bright Hawaiian shirt and YELL "AARRRRRRRRRRR"!!!!!!! Hope ta meet ya in person someday and swill a grog or two with ya.

Capt Rob, Its your ship, your the capt. run it as you would any vessel. You can't please all the people all the time.

My comments disappeared - twice! Don't know if you got them or not, but at the risk of being repetitious, I loved who you were, not enamored of who you are now for sure. Make the naysayers walk the plank! Give us back our Cap'n. Except for the missing hat, shirt, and Arrrrrrrg, the video was not bad ;)

The reason I subscribed to your blog (only about 3 months ago) was because it looked like fun. AND it appeared that you were sincere about doing what you enjoyed and sharing it. A quote from your blog "Freedom: Doin' what ye wants when ye wants to do it." If your changing because you want to, Kudo's and congrat's I will continue to subscribe and support - until it's no longer fun. Got enoungh "not fun" stuff already. If your changing because SOMEONE else wants you to, your still working for someone else.
